This is the work of Identity Integration.

What Is

Identity Integration?

Identity Integration is the process of aligning the different parts of yourself around who you are becoming.

Many leaders operate from multiple identities:

  • the identity that built their current success

  • the identity others expect them to maintain

  • the identity that is quietly emerging

When these identities are fragmented, leadership can feel confusing or misaligned.

But when they become integrated, something powerful happens.

Your leadership presence becomes coherent.

Your voice becomes clearer.

And your personal brand begins to reflect the truth of who you are becoming.

One of the most important phases of identity expansion is something I call The Identity Wobble™.

This is the moment when your current identity no longer fully fits — but your next identity hasn't stabilized yet.

Externally it can look like:

  • hesitation

  • second-guessing

  • uncertainty

  • questioning your direction

But internally something much deeper is happening.

Your identity is expanding beyond its previous boundaries.

The Identity Wobble™ is not a sign that something is wrong.

It is often a signal that you are growing into a new level of leadership.
