 The PODCAST

MAMA QUEEN BOSS is Self- Leadership for WOMEN. I created it to inspire us to stay in our “QUEEN” power as moms, bosses, leaders, and business owners.

This podcast isn’t about being a super mom and doing everything “right” or perfect. It’s about being real, honest, fun and inspiring.

If you want to be your most powerful self for yourself and those around you then it’s time to step into your QUEEN power in all that you do. Be the first to know and join me when the podcast launches.

how you do anything is how you do everything

THE ALCHEMY GROUP

When I lost my mom to cancer when I was eleven years old, It was the first funeral I had ever been to. I am the youngest of five girls and my mom raised us on her own working as a teller at a bank.

By the time I came along it seemed she was so overwhelmed and over being a parent. And I get it now that I have two kiddos of my own. It’s very challenging at times and I believe having five kids would put me over the edge as well.

Although she loved us deeply, she became very neglectful to us and herself. In a FULL house, I never felt so unseen and unheard. When she found out she had cancer at age 45 it was already in stage 4. She only lived six more months.

From then on, I was forced to seek out mentors and role models to help guide me. I didn’t know then that it was one of the biggest blessings in my life. Without question my sister Sandi stepped into the role of mother figure, best friend, mentor and role model. She taught me to journal and gave me self-improvement books to help me work through all the emotions I was experiencing.

Skip forward to 2009 when I graduated with my Masters in Spiritual Psychology. The experience changed my life and I knew deep in my heart if my mom would have had the tools and technologies I learned she might still be alive today. She was unfulfilled and gave up her dreams to become a mom. I feel she also gave up on herself.

Before my parents divorced when I was seven, my dad used to make us call him "Daddy, King Boss". It was in fun and it has also stuck as a family joke still to this day. When I opened an Etsy shop (one on my many business explorations) I did a t-shirt and line of products called "Mama, Queen, Boss" for fun.

Well, it resonated deeper and deeper and I eventually started this podcast to support boss moms with standing in their Queen power (aka Self-leadership) as a parent, boss, business owner, and woman so they can live a fulfilling life and fill them selves up in order to give to others.

The part I love most is that when MOM stands in her self-leadership it trickles down to the kiddos. They feel it! And they get to see a women, their mom, in her QUEEN power as a role model for life!!! We lead by example.

I am not the expert at parenting, staying in my queen energy, or as a business owner so I need the guests on the show as much as the next. But, what I am good at is listening deeply, asking the questions behind the questions to go deeper, being real, being honest and pulling those qualities out of the people I talk to. I have built an amazing support group of powerful women in my life and feel I would be doing a disservice not to share them with you
